We’re Ben and Amy, the people behind Heylen Custom 3D Printing, a small 3D printing business based in Belgium creating modern home décor, personalised gifts, pet accessories, seasonal decorations, practical organizers, and custom 3D-printed products.

Like many small businesses, ours started with a simple conversation…

“Do you think we could make that?”

Ben’s answer is almost always:

“Yep… let’s give it a try.”

One idea quickly turned into another, one 3D printer became several, and before we knew it, our evenings and weekends were filled with designing, printing, testing, photographing, and creating products we genuinely love.

What started as a hobby has grown into a small business we’re incredibly proud to share.

So… who does what?

🔧 Ben – The Maker

If there’s a technical problem, a new design to create, or a 3D printer acting like it has a mind of its own, that’s Ben’s department.

He’s the one behind the printers, constantly experimenting with settings, improving designs, testing materials, and making sure every 3D-printed product is something we’d proudly use in our own home.

If I ask:

“Can we make this?”

He usually disappears behind his desk…

…and after a little frustration, a couple of breaks, and probably more coffee than necessary, he eventually looks up smiling and says:

“I’ve got it. Do you want to see?”

There’s normally a new prototype waiting on his screen, and my response is usually something along the lines of:

“Great job, baby. You’re awesome.”

Sometimes I think he enjoys solving the challenge even more than printing the finished product. 😄

📸 Amy – The Creative Chaos

I’m the one behind the camera, website, product photography, descriptions, social media, and approximately one thousand new ideas every week.

If you’ve seen one of our TikToks, Facebook posts, Instagram photos, Pinterest posts, or product listings…

…that’s usually me.

I’m also responsible for wandering over to Ben’s desk in the living room and saying:

“Hear me out…”

…which usually means the printers are about to get another job and Ben’s coffee is about to go cold. 😄

Meet Our Quality Control Team 🐾

No small business is complete without a few furry supervisors.

Zephyr and Zahra take their jobs very seriously… or at least they pretend to.

Whenever the printers are running, they’re usually close by waiting for tiny scraps of filament to fall onto the floor. They inspect boxes, supervise packaging, and regularly remind us that cardboard boxes actually belong to cats.

Then there’s Nijntje, our bunny, who believes absolutely everything should be inspected… preferably by trying to chew it first. 🐰

They’re not much help with production, but they definitely keep life interesting — and the workshop never feels empty.

What We Love Creating

One of our favourite things about 3D printing is that no two days are ever the same.

Some days we’re creating modern 3D-printed home décor.

Other days we’re making pet accessories, seasonal decorations, organizers, personalised gifts, storage solutions, or custom 3D-printed products for customers who have an idea but can’t quite find what they’re looking for.

Those custom projects are some of our favourites because every one is different.

There’s something really rewarding about taking someone’s idea and turning it into a physical product they can actually hold in their hands.

For us, this isn’t just about selling products.

It’s about creating things people genuinely enjoy using.

It’s about designing home décor that makes someone smile.

It’s about helping someone organize a space, celebrate a holiday, spoil a pet, or create a personalised gift that feels a little more special than something mass-produced.

And sometimes, it’s about creating something completely custom that didn’t exist before.

Every order that comes through our website still makes us excited.

We’re absolutely still the kind of people who tell each other:

We create our products in Belgium and offer a growing range of 3D-printed décor, gifts, pet accessories, seasonal pieces, functional organizers, and custom designs.

Many of our products can be personalised, and we also love working on custom requests for customers looking for something unique.

Our range keeps growing as new ideas turn into prototypes — and prototypes turn into products.

That’s probably our favourite part of this whole thing.
